ViewSync with Waypoints
Surveillance operations are greatly enhanced through moving map and camera sensor integration. In this demonstration, the operator marks the location each turn of the suspect vehicle with the press of a single key. Each georeferenced marker is automatically saved, and the camera can be slaved to each of these points. This video demonstrates the integration with the L-3 Wescam MX-15.
Slew and Geohold
Perhaps one of the most frequently used features of AeroComputers moving map systems, EO/IR sensor slaving and geopointing at a target is a simple one-key operation. This video demonstrates camera integration with the L-3 Wescam MX-15.
Speed Recognition
Our new Speed Recognition feature displays speed and direction of travel of a ground target. For traffic enforcement and surveillance applications, this technology is critically important. Video, moving map, and speed information is recorded in X3-DVR video for later evidentiary use. This video shows the actual speedometer of the test vehicle (left side of screen) and the Speed Recognition feature in the aircraft (right side) demonstrating a +/- 1mph accurate reading.
High Altitude Surveillance
The AeroComputers mapping system is a power tool for conducting airborne surveillance operations. This video demonstrates the map system controlling an EO/IR sensor, synchronized split-screen maps and video, and the geo-referenced target markers. Demonstration utilizes ViewSync Gimbal Command.
Fire/Incident Mapping
Using our system, Public Safety personnel can quickly and easily collect perimeter and acreage information about a fire, oil spill, or other hazard. This information is stored as a standard GIS shapefile which can then be imported into other compatible software. This demonstration shows the tracing of a ground feature (an island) with dynamic perimeter and acreage calculations. Enhanced IR footage collected with the Cineflex V14 HD sensor. Split-Screen Maps & Video
ViewSync gimbal command technology synchronizes EO/IR sensor video and moving maps for ultimate situational awareness. This demonstration shows integration with the FLIR Ultra 8500 sensor in a pursuit scenario. Demonstration utilizes ViewSync Gimbal Command.

Surveillance & Reconnaissance
Law Enforcement and Military personnel recognize the tremendous value in having synchronized maps and camera video. This video demonstrates surveillance of both stationary and moving targets using a number of onscreen overlays which help supply additional information. Previously identified targets are recalled, and the camera is automatically steered to their location. The L-3 Wescam MX-15 sensor was used to produce this video.
